Actually, the point of Ted&#039;s original Apache News item is that both Struts classic and Shale will exist side-by-side and the market will decide.  There weren&#039;t ever any concrete plans for 2.0 to be dropped, so rather than adopt Shale or a rewrite of Struts classic, we decided to put them both out there and let nature takes its course.</description>
