Releasing a minimal set of features

Agile should push us into delivering the smallest part first and put it into production, but it is easy to forget. Especially working with replacing legacy systems it is easy to end up with a project path that aims too high. Martin Fowler has a nice example of how a really simplistic approach can be that will minimize time to market. Read it here.
