I’m not a big fan of Oracle. I’ve had my fair share of problems with their products, but I’ve mentioned before that I think they’re on the right track. As one example you now got deb packages for Oracle Express Edition. Check out a tutorial here.

I’m not really in the market for new hosting, but I came across this plan when surfing the Gallery2 site. 20GB for 8 USD a month is a good deal. It finally means there actually exists commercial plans with enough space to take care of most of my sites.
Guess I’m a bit late, but this excellent J2ME app should let you sync your phones calendar with GCal. Of course my 6230 is not supported, but hopefully I’m getting a Nokia E60 in the near future. 🙂
