Head over to Rands for some managerial stereotypes. I guess these stereotypes apply to all coworkers, managerial or not, and as Rands concludes; you need them both and be able to communicate with them.

I configured a PVR PC for my dad last christmas and bought Beyond TV 3 to avoid the hassle of setting up MythTV and Linux. It’s been working well, but a friend pointed me to MediaPortal today. It’s an open source product that looks really slick. It’s in early version now, but it should evolve to a real competitor. I’ll check it out soon.
