Yep, I got my first massive comment spam hit today. Thanks to WordPress it wasn’t too big a deal to get rid of them. If I get hit more I’ll have to take some steps to make it harder.

Mozilla site remake
The Mozilla site has received a makeover. Excellent! Maybe my memory is bad, but I actually think this is one of the best looking and best structured sites I have ever seen. And hey, Firefox is their highlight product. The big old clunky Mozilla browser should be on it’s way out soon. Let the browser wars begin! 😉

PHP 5 and the road
Great article about PHP 5. A quick glimpse of the article make me wonder if PHP will stay as popular in the future. They had to make it more complex to evolve and handle the ever growing requirements on applications. But it seems they have sacrificed the ease of development for modularity and complexity. A move that might result in loosing the low end programmers while beeing close enough to Java and .NET that they will be a better choice for the apps. Time will show.
