JavaZone coming up

JavaZone is coming up. It is the JUG Norway conference with names like Gilb, Crupi, Hellesøy, Öberg and Stallman speaking. The agenda looks great, as always I won’t be able to attend everything I want.

These should be good:

  • Test-Driven Development – Johannes Brodwall og Trond Pedersen
  • Integration between Java and .NET – Rune Zakariassen
  • The secrets of IoC – The PicoContainer advantage – Aslak Hellesøy
  • Java Development – do it better and faster – Björn Gullberg
  • Model Driven Development: Who Needs It – Wim Bast
  • Open Source Agile Architecture – Trond Arve Wasskog
  • Service-Oriented Architecture and Process-Driven Development – Jim Rivera
  • J2EE and Web Services: What’s Next? – Steve Muench
  • Experience report on MDA – Bjørn Nordmoen
  • The Java Portlet Specification and IBM WebSphere Portal – Oliver Köth
  • A J2EE middleware migration – Kristian Schjelderup og Otto Fjøsne
  • Effective development of entreprise applications with Java/Swing/J2EE? – Carl-Olav Løvald
  • Domain modelling with weaved domain model aspects – Rickard Öberg
  • The Java Trap – Richard Stallman

That’s all. 😉 Of course I won’t be able to make half of it. The choices to make… 😉

Ted Neward interview

An interview of Ted Neward on The ServerSide. He’s the author of Effective Enterprise Java which is another one of the books I should get around to reading.
